One of our biggest missions here at Graham Farm is to help others learn to become more food sovereign. This includes helping start gardens, teaching sustainable gardening methods, preserving seeds, hosting seed swaps, preserving food, and celebrating good back-to-basics home cooking.
With that in mind, we have partnered with the Blue Ridge Food Rescue to help host our annual Collin County Seed Swap. Blue Ridge Food Rescue works with local community members to collect donations and make them available to anyone in the community in need. We are excited to share in a passion for helping others close the loop on food availability.
The plant and seed swap will work the same as in prior years - bring plant starts, root stocks, tubers, and/or seeds. If you don't have seeds to swap, bring some pantry items to help fill the food pantry! 🌱+🥫=💕
In the next couple of months, we will also be launching a brand-new seed library at the Blue Ridge Resource Center, which will be available year-round for the community! (Stay tuned for more info!)
