Graham Family Farm worked with the Collin County 4-H club & the City of Lucas to establish a seed library to be housed within City Hall. In January, Graham Family Farm hosted a community seed swap on National Seed Swap Day and put out a call for seed donations. Seed organizations such as Baker Creek, West Coat Seeds and Seed Saver Exchange donated seeds along with seeds donated by Graham Family Farm and local community members.
This seed library offers a wide variety of open-pollinated and heirloom seeds, non-genetically modified fruit, vegetable, herb, and flower seeds available to the community free of charge. Take some. Leave some.
Special thanks to everyone that donated the original set of seeds including everyone that came to our January seed swap and donated to the library!
We'll have another seed swap this October!
