As mentioned in our last post, a new seed library is coming to Collin County and it's here in Blue Ridge @ the Blue Ridge Resource Center! The library is open to all community members and is free to use.
Open pollinated and heirloom seeds have been donated from multiple seed suppliers and local gardeners are already helping to fill and utilize the library! We look forward to a wonderful harvest in 2026 and will hold a class in summer on saving seeds to keep the library full!
Next Saturday, January 24th is our annual seed swap and will be hosted at the Blue Ridge Resource Center so come out, swap some seeds and check out the library! If you don't have seeds to swap, you can bring some unused hotel toiletries to donate to the resource center.
